2016年5月20日 REDCAは4月5日に発行されたEN 50566への追記、決定(EU)2016/537に関して、分離距離 “a few millimeters” は5 ㎜以下と解釈することがふさわしいとしています。

2016年5月26日 FCCはDA 16-588を発行し 改めて、米国法、規則に沿わない機器を使用することは、機器の認可有無に拘わらず問題となることを例をあげ注意喚起を行っています。それらの中には、他の機器や認可放送局へ妨害を与えるもの、DFS(Dynamic Frequency Selection)の動作しない機器、認可されていないチャンネル、出力で動作する機器などが含まれます。

[日本] LTE-Advanced、広帯域移動無線アクセス
2016年5月24日 総務省は検討が行われていた「第4世代移動通信システム（LTE-Advanced）等の高度化に関する技術的条件」及び「広帯域移動無線アクセスシステムの高度化に関する技術的条件」の答申を公表しています。これは上りのキャリアアグリゲーションの拡張、下りの多値変調方式（256QAM）の追加等の更なる高速化を実現する技術を導入するものです。
